However, this sort of perfection is never cheap by any means; the Oppo bdp-83 Blu-Ray disc player will set the buyer back by a staggering $425. This is definitely not a bargain player.

There are additionally some limitations to the user that is disappointing after such a price tag. To start with the player is region locked and may not be made region free without modification. Additionally it is not possible to stream movies from Netflix, Pandora, etc.

If you are a normal consumer looking to spend 100 or 200 on a BR player, spend a little more and get the Oppo (either get this model or perhaps the cheaper 80 model…ideally this model).
